The Stewartry Youth Work Team will be taking a group of young people to Bouldover Climbing Centre in Annan. We have 15 spaces available so please book your space today! Meeting times and locations will be sent out to those that book.

Arty Crafty Kids A fun and creative arts and crafts group for ages 5-14 years. We look to get the kids involved in choosing painting, drawing, collage, bead making, clay modelling, mosaics or something else!. Snack of biscuits, fruit, soft drinks/water provided

My name is Kaighley Cruickshanks and I am an experienced and highly skilled childcare provider within Dumfries and Galloway. My Summer Programme will transport and provide fun days out to different venues/experiences across the region and beyond. These trips will vary in time and distance ensuring that the different needs and interests of children are catered for. For activities over 3 hours, food will be provided with many trips/experiences offering eating out opportunities! Through the application process children, with their parent(s)/guardian(s),can choose activities that interest them. I will aim to offer at least one of these through the Summer.

We have organised a programme of sport and physical activity sessions across the region for children with a physical, learning or sensory disability to take part in. Sessions are for all abilities and will be focused on having fun and learning new skills. Sign up to any of our sessions where our coaches will be happy to lead you through the session.

Drop in to one of our Youth Cafes that are open 5 nights a week in towns and villages across Dumfries and Galloway. Lots of free activities are on offer including music workshops, sports nights, crafts, gaming or just stop by for something to eat and hang out with your friends! Free food available at every session and we are open to all young people aged 11 and over. We hope to see you there!

The VR Rooms Come along and take part in a range of VR experiences that creates immersive and competitive gameplay and unique cinematic VR experiences! Also includes console gaming, art sessions and much more! Free food and refreshments for every young person who attends!

SUNDAY FUN DAY Summer is the perfect time to get your friends together and join us for hours of fun in your local park including music, inflatables, team challenges, outdoor games and a BBQ. All the activities are free and is for young people aged 11 – 18 years!

Social Transition Pool Party! Young people who are in Primary 7 and heading up to high school after the summer are invited to join us at our Inflatable Pool Party at the Ryan Centre and Merrick Leisure Centre. 1 hour or non-stop pool party fun, followed by food and a Q&A about secondary school! Young people attending must be able to swim.

Young parents & children activity sessions. Young parents (under 25) and their children are invited to take part in our fun activity sessions in Stranraer and Newton Stewart. Join us for an action packed session of messy play, a clown show, crafts, games and a picnic! It’s all free! Spaces are limited must be booked.

Outdoor adventure and film-making fun! Enjoy a day of water and dry-land activities at the Galloway Activity Centre, Loch Ken, with a chance to use Go-pro cameras to film your adventures. Next day, join us at CatStrand, New Galloway to turn your footage into a short film with the help of a professional filmmaker. There are two blocks available, one for ages 7-9 and one for ages 10-14. You should be able to attend the whole day at the activity centre and one of two filmmaking sessions the next day. Young people from the Glenkens area will be prioritised.
