DANCE SESSIONS WITH EMMA LOUISE DANCE CLUB Come along and join in the fun of dance classes led by Emma Louise! These sessions are for all abilities.

Creetown Initiative Youth Work invites you to come along to their Summer Programme and take part in the many activities. Feel free to bring along a friend, sibling or cousin. Some of the activities includes Sports, Cooking, Arts and Crafts, Fun Days plus much more. We look forward to seeing you there 😊

Physical activity sessions will improve children's knowledge about sport but add to their skills set, gain confidence, experience and socialisation with themselves and others. Golf and Karate will be on offer. Children attending our Family Fun Day will get a FREE healthy packed lunch and attendance to other sessions health snacks will be on offer, letting children enjoy because of family food poverty. The Family Fun Day will be offered as a family festival. A trip would be organised for children ages 5-16 years old with accompanying adults/parents/carers and this would be to Glasgow Science Centre, this trip will be educational and motivational and related to the nature environment which we live in. Craft sessions will additionally be on offer, along with outdoor activities and these sessions will be child led with adult support.

LGBT Youth Scotland will host 6 hybrid Sessions which can be attended in person or online for LGBTQ+ young people and their allies 13-16 (25 years if LAC) years living within Dumfries and Galloway. Each participant will receive an activity pack that with an exciting array of craft equipment, useful information, and a variety of snacks for each person to have the equality of experience across the 6 sessions whether together in person or digitally. These sessions will be focused on fun to allow young people to interact with a wider peer community and make friendships across the region.

The Parents Inclusion Network has organised a visit over two separate days to Abernethy, Barcaple where children and young people can participate in activities including wall climbing, archery, and raft building. This trip is open to everyone aged 5-18 years. Each activity will be led by a fully qualified instructor and lunch will be included.

Participants can book onto as many or as little of the activities as they like. All the activities are free. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Booking is essential. The activities are for young people ranging in age from 5-15 years old, depending on the activity. Participants will need to fill out consent and emergency contact details, upon booking. GO GIRLS: EMPOWERMENT DAY Calling all adventurous girls aged 12 – 25 years! Dumfries and Galloway Young Women’s Network invite you to join us for Empowerment Day, a special event where you can break stereotypes and explore activities traditionally seen as "for boys." Break stereotypes, build confidence, make new friends and inspire change! Discover your strength, creativity, and potential in a fun, supportive environment! Our Stranraer fun day is an opportunity for the community to come together and enjoy the free activities on offer at the local park, providing healthy and engaging activities that champion community and well-being. The Trust will be providing fun entertainment throughout the day that will include a drive-in cinema experience as well as refreshments. There will also be an opportunity to join in on the charity Fun run in aid of SPCA.

A range of issue-based programmes and one-off activities each with a focus on a different aspect of young people’s health, well-being and socialisation using different engagement methods and outputs.
