The Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) is Scotland’s student funding agency.
We provide government money to colleges and universities to pay for your course tuition fees, as well as giving money directly you to help with your living costs while you study. This could be either a bursary, living costs support or a loan and the amount you receive will depend on your circumstances.
Each part of the UK has its own funding agency. If you normally live in Scotland, you’ll apply to SAAS.
If you have just left school and are looking to study from HNC level to a degree you will need to apply for undergraduate funding.
