We are having park pop ups every Friday night for young people in Stranraer from 6-8pm. The 6 weeks of our park pop ups include: BBQ & inflatables Mini Festival Scavenger Photo Challenge Colour Run and Scran Summer Party Circus and Street Skills

Stranraer Millennium Centre have a 5 week, fun filled summer activity sessions planned. Each week will follow a new theme including nature, beach and the park.

Art and Crafts sessions (Get Crafty & Art) give participants the chance to explore a range of materials and techniques, encouraging creativity, self-expression and confidence in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. These sessions provide an accessible and low-cost option in an area where opportunities are limited. Kids Story Yoga (ages 5–10) builds on the success of previous delivery, combining gentle yoga with storytelling to introduce mindfulness, movement and relaxation in an engaging and age-appropriate way. The sessions support balance, coordination and concentration, while creating a calm space for children to take part at their own pace. Drama Guild Classes (10+) offer young people the opportunity to develop confidence and communication skills through acting exercises, games and group activities. Participants work together towards a final performance, encouraging teamwork and a sense of achievement. Dance programme provides an intensive and energetic experience, where young people learn routines and work towards a final show. This helps build confidence, coordination and performance skills, while giving participants a strong sense of purpose and pride. Free Roaming VR sessions (8+) introduce young people to an immersive, interactive experience not widely accessible locally. Through team games, challenges and exploration, participants develop teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills in a fun and engaging way.

Young people can enjoy making pizzas, outdoor games, creative sessions, music, wellbeing activities and meeting new friends in a safe and welcoming space. Whether you want to get creative, have fun outdoors or just chill with friends, there’s something for everyone. Come along, get involved and make this summer one to remember with the Whithorn Pizza Crew!

Family Fun Day offering entertainment and enjoyment. This FREE event is aimed at ALL young people. It is designed for you to enjoy and express yourselves. Come along and try some circus skills under expert tuition. If you don't want to participate, you can observe, there is always the option for you to change your mind! Other attractions include food, entertainment and games for your FUN. It's an OPPORTUNITY to meet old friends, make new friends, come together and have FUN. Come along for this morale boosting, sense of belonging and strengthen relationships. Let your voices be heard. We offer creative workshops such as painting, planting flowers, flower arrangement workshop, rock painting, paper crafting workshop. After each event, all children will be offered snacks and refreshments.

Football festival and fun day to promote opening of new 3g facility!

Step into a world of imagination with Plantasia: a fun, free summer-scheme at Catherine Street Inclusive Park. Children & young people aged 5-18 can create magical garden displays inspired by themes like Minecraft, Finding Nemo and Tangled. Using plants, crafts and recycled materials, together we’ll make colourful park exhibits. With friendly, inclusive sessions, creative activities, fresh air and snacks included, it’s a welcoming space where everyone can join in, make friends and feel proud of what they’ve built.
