Stranraer Scottish Week 2025 – a list of family fun events from car treasure hunt, to family prize bingo and so much more. Other events include a day in the park, as well as bowling and golf competitions.

The Parents Inclusion Network is heading to Abernethy for a fun-filled day in the great outdoors — and you’re invited! Bushcraft – Become a wild explorer! Learn awesome survival skills like building shelters and starting a campfire. Raft Building – Team up to build your own raft using ropes and barrels, then test it out on the pond. Will it float? Only one way to find out! Challenge Course – Climb, crawl, swing, and slide your way through an exciting obstacle course. It’s all about fun, teamwork, and adventure! Pack your sense of adventure – it’s going to be a wild day!

Kirkconnel and Kelloholm Development Trust together with Amazing Summer presents SUMMER OF PLAY! Including… FREE summer holiday Football Sessions at Hillview FREE 3-Day Football Camp with coaches from Cumnock Juniors (limited places – includes lunch) FREE parent and child swimming sessions at Sanquhar Fun Pool – includes transport from Kirkconnel and Kelloholm. As part of the FREE activities above, we will provide healthy snacks (including fruit) for all children and young people taking part.

Family Fun Day providing an afternoon of entertainment and enjoyment. We are particularly attracting young people between the ages of 5 and 16 years. It is designed for young people’s enjoyment, so you can express yourselves, compete, observe or participate at a level comfortable for you. There is a blend of activities, food, entertainment and games for your FUN. EXPERIENCE new activities such as karaoke or rodeo bull. It’s an OPPORTUNITY to meet old friends, make new friends, come together and enjoy a FREE afternoon. Come along for this morale boosting, sense of belonging and strengthen relationships. The RH Youth Organisation proudly presents: The Activity Day Back for its 5th year, The RH Youth Organisation Activity Day will be a FREE fun day out for the whole family! The RH Youth Organisation are delighted to be part of the Amazing Summer scheme funded by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
