You’ll get to have lots of fun on the farm, including • Spending time with our friendly goats, pigs, rabbits, ponies, sheep, cows and much-loved tortoise Titus; Learn about the animal care. • Take part in Arts and Crafts. • Den Build in the Local Woods. • Walk our Shetland Ponies. • Have a go at Pony Agility.

We have pulled together an exciting programme of FREE activities for young people ages 11 and up across 4 towns in Annandale and Eskdale, featuring arts, sports, mocktail making, team activities and much more! Come along and get involved in the fun! Drinks and snacks will be provided at every session as a minimum.

Pony driving for disabled children and young people – come and try an exciting, unusual sport with a professional trainer who will teach and show you how to drive a pony around a field. If you would like you can also try grooming a pony and meet the other animals who live with them. We will ask you to wear a hard hat (provided) when on the carriage with your trainer. We have carriages that are accessible if you are a wheelchair user or have poor mobility. If the weather is bad, we do pony driving in a covered arena.

Xcel Project – Party on the Pitch

Party on the Pitch is a family event that gives young people the opportunity to take part in a range of different activities. The event will include bubble football, gel master, bouncy castle, treasure hunt, rounders, arts and crafts and much more. Families are encouraged to come up and enjoy the day. The aim of the event is to bring people together and it also coincides with the start of our Common Riding week. We will also have a visit from the front three on the day.

Fun Day celebrating 100 years since MoD auctioned buildings into private ownership. Fancy Dress competition for ALL ages. Judging at 10 am at the Green, Eastriggs. Fun Day celebrating 100 years since MoD auctioned buildings into private ownership. Fancy Dress competition for ALL ages. Judging at 10 am at the Green, Eastriggs. The route is The Rand, turning left onto Melbourne Avenue, right onto Durban Road, left at Chemist onto Delhi Road, left onto Sydney Road, left onto Melbourne Avenue finishing at Melbourne Park (DG12 6PP). The fun day will commence with Children’s Entertainer BJ between 12 and 2 pm with Potts Amusements (huge inflatables, Teacups, Elephant rides and Hook-a-Duck). BJ Children’s Entertainer will perform between 12 and 2 pm at Melbourne Park. Stalls, tombola and singing will complete the line-up. These must be returned by 31 July 2024. ALL entries must be signed by a parent/guardian
