Sandhead Learning Centre

Since the inception of Sandhead Learning & Internet Centre (SLIC) in 2004, the centre has gone from strength to strength and has become an integral part of community life. The services they provide are delivered with the help of a team of dedicated, loyal and hardworking volunteers, without whom much of the centre’s work would not take place. They deliver various courses for all members of the community and carry out employment related activities for our Job Club members which also includes setting up email accounts and registration with Universal Jobmatch. As a UK Online Centre partner they are now a City & Guilds accredited centre delivering a level 3 accredited award in Online Basics.
